I woke up a little before 8 and played games until after 9. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. After a little surfing Ellen and I went outside so she could cut my hair. They were stacking pipe while she cut my hair, so I got to watch some honest labor.
After that we went back inside for awhile and then left so Ellen could get her second COVID shot. She had an appointment, but they still made her wait for 45 minutes before giving her the shot. Then she had to wait longer to make sure it wouldn't kill her immediately.
By then it was past lunch time, so we ate at AC Greasy. I bought a new hose Y at the hardware store. They had DeWalt jigsaws on sale, so I bought on of those also. The one in the shed is a cheap corded model that I've had for over 40 years. For a long time it was the only power saw I owned. When I was building the shelves for the shed it was clear that it had gotten very tired. We stopped at Baumann's on the way home, but didn't buy anything.
When I got home I replaced the Y in the trailer water input with the new one. Before I attached it I used the Dremel to widen it's input. I also used the compressor to clean out the debris in the trailer input hose connection screen. How to make a short simple job longer and more complicated.
After that I called Grant. Ellen and I had some questions. He answered them. I signed some documents online while we were talking. Apparently more are coming. Oh boy.
That was it for accomplishments today. The rest of the day was TV and games. I actually found an old western with James Coburn in it that I'd never seen before. Dinner was leftover sloppy joe's. Ellen is beginning to feel the ill effects of the COVID shot.
