We woke up at 8 today, but it was cold. Laying in the warm bed with Devin laying on top of us purring was really nice. So we didn't get up until 8:30. After pet stuff and breakfast we went to Harbor Freight to get a replacement cover for the Austin car shelter. Then we stopped at Highway Trailer to get a replacement water hose for the one that broke last night when I was filling the fresh water tank. The final stop was Brooks to fill up the truck with fuel.
We made a short stop at home to switch vehicles and then headed to Portland. We stopped at the liquor store on Cornell to pick up the makings for alcoholic sweet tea. Then we went to the volley ball match. Unfortunately Sophia wasn't playing because she was sick. Her team won the match.
We stopped at Bales on the way to Hooch's place to pick up meat, cheese, crackers, and bread fro lunch. Ellen cut it up when we got there. It was a hit lunch. Hooch arrived later and fixed the sweet tea. It was a hit, too.
We went back to the school for Alicia's match. Her team won also. We made another grocery stop on the way home for cake, pizza, and more bread. Then we really hit the tea.
Hooch and I went out on the deck and talked for a couple of hours. Then he and Alicia drug me in to play Dungeons and Dragons. They were amazed at my lack of ability. We finished up the night watching a movie.
I'm a little worried about Ellen. Last night she said she was bleeding out her ass. Tonight she had really serious stomach pain. All she could do is lay on the sofa and moan for hours. If she's like that tomorrow she's going to get some help.
The clasp on the watch band on my Samsung watch came apart. I think I can fix it if I can get a couple of new watch band pins. If not I'll probably have to wait until we're home to get a new one.

Day 1060
We got up at 8:15, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then it was outside to wash and wax the truck. It took a couple of hours. Then it was time to go to Portland to see the dentist. I misread the appointment as 12:30, when it was actually 12:50.
That made we were early, so I stopped at Carr Chevrolet to look at the trucks. I confirmed that the 250/350 trucks don't have all of the cool things I wanted. The salesman was cool. His manager wasn't. The manager just wouldn't listen to me. He wanted to sell me what was on the lot - a gas 150. I finally just blew him off.
We still got to the dentist by 12:30. He saw me right away and we were out by 12:50. Apparently the implant is healing fine. We called Hooch, but he didn't answer the phone. So we drove over to Beaverton Mall to look for some place to eat. We ended up at Arby's.
Hooch called as we were leaving. They were home, so we decided to go there. We stopped at Harbor Freight on the way. Apparently the fabric carport cover is no more, so I wanted to buy a replacement up here. I wouldn't fit in the car though, so I'll buy it tomorrow.
When we got to Hooch's place we talked for awhile. Hooch had to coach volleyball from 4 to 6, so we just surfed while he was gone. He fixed a big steak dinner when he got back.
Everyone watched an old Disney movie after dinner. We left about 9:20. They were screwing with I5 on the way home. Luckily traffic was slowed, but didn't stop.
We got home at 10. There was a little surfing and then bed.

Day 1059
We got up about 8:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. After a very little surfing I went out to poison the environment. The wheel that I put on the sprayer worked pretty well. It allowed me to do the things that needed hand spraying with a minimum of effort. I did the rest with the sprayer connected to the Ranger. All in all I used two tanks of spray.
The spraying took until almost noon. I did a little surfing and then had lunch. After lunch we had to go to Keizer to get more drugs from CVC. Joe had called to say that the truck was ready, so we went over to Mt. Angel. I had the GPS route us and it took us on roads we'd never been on before. It was a nice drive.
We came into town from an entirely new direction. We passed a big antique store. After picking up the truck we stopped there. We spent at least an hour looking at things. We bought a couple of small items and a pheasant watercolor for Hooch. The last stop was the hamburger place for a milkshake and smoothie.
When we got home we went out shooting. Actually I shot and Ellen pulled. I'm actually adapting to one eyed shooting. I won't be good, but I'm not terrible.
I had leftover shrimp for dinner. Ellen's asshole was giving her trouble, so she didn't have anything. After dinner was football.

Day 1058
We got up at 9 today. We did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and surfed until it was time to take the truck to Joe's. Ellen called the vet. Lucy was OK and ready to come home. It seems like a replay of the time she ate the sour cream.
We took the truck to Joe's and then drove to Tualatin. We picked up the dog and went to Freddie's for some groceries. We also stopped at 5.11 and Best Buy just to look around. Then we took Lucy to the pet store for a treat.
Gerry texted saying that there were more papers for Ellen to sign. We were real close, so we drove over to his office and Ellen signed. Then we drove home. I5 was clogged, so we went down Boone's Ferry. It had red lights every few blocks. When we got on the I5 at Wilsonville everything was clogged up until past Canby. Then people still couldn't drive all the way to Keizer where I picked up some drugs at CVS.
When we got home it was 3 and we had a very late lunch. Then I did a little surfing and went to the club to buy ammo and some Seal. Then I cleaned the Perazzi. It wasn't very dirty, but the ejectors had been sticking. So I took them apart and gave them a good scrubbing.
That took until after 6. Ellen fixed a shrimp dinner in a box from Freddie's. It was really good. After dinner was reading, TV and surfing.
Lucy is a little lethargic because we're giving her muscle relaxants, but she seems to be fine.

Day 1057
We got up at 7, but didn't get out of bed until 8. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast before going to do the wash. After the wash we went to Touchmark.
Mom was in bed (surprise). We woke her up and got her going. It took her quite awhile to get out of bed, go to the bathroom, and comb her hair. It would have taken longer except the drug lady came in and helped with the hair and hearing aids.
We took Mom to the quick mart/bar/sandwich/coffee place that's down the road from Touchmark. It was expensive, but good. After we were finished eating we moved to the gas fireplace they had on the deck. We got into a conversation with a woman who was planning on moving her sister into Touchmark.
We took Mom home after that. We got there at 2, just in time for the lady to take her on a walk. A ceramic bird was in pieces on the floor. We couldn't figure out how it happened, or even where it had been placed before it fell. We went home after that, traffic was OK.
We surfed for about an hour when we got home, and then went shooting. Lucy spent a lot of time out in the grass field and came back licking her chops.
We had dinner - sloppy joes and scalloped potatoes. We were watching TV about 8 when Lucy suddenly got off the couch, staggered a little, and barfed. Then she staggered to the door. She barely made it down the steps and out on the grass. She staggered around a little and then barfed up everything she ate at dinner. Then she stood there shaking and then staggered back to the trailer. I lifted her up the steps and to the living room while Ellen called emergency.
We drove her to emergency in Tualatin. After an hour or so the doctor came ouiut and said that she appeared stable. He described a course of action - blood test, IV and IV lipids (soaks up poisons). We said go ahead. He's supposed to call us about the blood test about midnight.
I guess we'll stay up until the call.

Day 1056
We got up about 8:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. I went out to make sure the sprayer battery was charged. It wasn't. In fact it was so dead the charger wouldn't work. So I connected the power supply. I left it on until 12 when we left to got to Costco to get my hearing aids checked.
At Costco I had them turn down the gain a little on the high frequencies. They also gave me some different sized ear pieces. Hopefully that will keep them from coming out. We also did a little shopping.
After Costco we drove to south Salem to a self service dog wash. It was in a pet store, so Lucy got a treat when we were done. We stopped at a Subway on the way home for lunch.
We didn't get home until 4:30 - too late to spray like I had planned. We surfed until dinner time. I went for a walk with Lucy and then had dinner - leftover Pad Thai.
After dinner was football and Futurama.

Day 1055
We got up at 10 today. It was cold lat night and the bed just felt too warm to get up. When we did get up we did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then it was a little surfing before we left to go to Cabela's.
Cabela's was having a dog day starting at 12. We got there at 12:10. That wasn't by plan, it just happened that way. We got our picture taken with Lucy and got a free dog towel. We looked at fish finders for Dan's kayak. I would have bought him one, but he said he already had one when I called him. He wanted a fishing pole, but Cabela's didn't have the right one.
We ate at Cracker Barrel because it has soft food. It was OK except for the sausage, which was inedible. I saved it for the dog.
When we were finished we went to Hooch's. Alicia was finished with her homework (a miracle) and Sophia was almost done. We talked for awhile. Sophia blew up about Dan reviewing her homework. Her screaming scares Lucy. Lucy came over and laid with me. Sophia got sent to her room - quiet ensued.
Hooch said he wanted to make cinnamon rolls. Martha said he couldn't use her supplies. So I went to the store to buy the stuff while Hooch went upstairs to talk to Sophia. It cost $25 dollars to buy what was needed. Of course some stuff was left over.
When we got back we started making the rolls. We managed to do everything except kneading and rolling out the dough. Martha did that - it takes experience. We put in double brown sugar, raisins, and cinnamon. We also used double frosting. They came out great.
Hooch ordered a really late (8:00) dinner from a hamburger joint. It was good though. So were the cinnamon rolls.
We left about 8:45. Yesterday a sign had said that they were closing the I5 ramp at 10. When we got there the sign was gone and there were no workers anywhere around.
We got home before 10. We both took showers and I filled up the fresh water tank. It's getting cold at night. It's 55 at 10, headed for 45.

Day 1054
We got up at 9, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. There was a little bit of surfing and then we left for Portland. We got there just in time for a quick stop at the pet store before going to see Alicia's volleyball game. We missed Sophia's because it was too early.
After the game Martha wanted to got to a Beirgarten restaurant in Beaverton. It was as loud as the one in Keizer, but the food was good. After that we went to Hooch's. We took Alicia with us and stopped at Bale's for a cake. She chose one and we had them put Hooch on it.
When we got home there was lots of talking and game playing. Hooch started working on putting an alarm on his safe. The kids went upstairs to play games. Martha, Ellen, and I surfed. Sophia was an asshole all day - bitching and moaning. I'm not sure if that's her normal behavior.
At dinner time Hooch showed me how to order Thai food from Amazon. It took quite awhile to get there. It was good though. It should be, it cost $140.
After dinner everyone played WII games. Some take 4 people at a time. We left at 10. When we got home it was feed the cat and go to bed.

Day 1053
We got up at 8, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. After a little surfing I went out to the shed. I cut off the 4 bolts that I used to mount the wheel on the sprayer. That's the only useful thing I accomplished today.
The rest of the day was surfing. We did go out in mid afternoon to shoot.
The evening was surfing and TV. Dinner was leftover sloppy joes.

Day 1052
The day 1:00 AM. I had forgotten to drain the black tank yesterday. Ellen's asshole was giving her problems all of yesterday and the tank ended up overfull. It stunk up the bedroom and kitchen. I managed to get to sleep, but at 1 the stink woke me up. So I went outside and spent 20 minutes or more draining the tank. At least it wasn't very cold.
I went back to bed and woke up at 8. We got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we surfed until after 10. The web said that there was a dog wash in McMinnville. So we decided to go there after taking the dog swimming.
The dog had a great time swimming - 22 water retrieves and 10 land retrieves. The dog wash at the Petco in McMinnville was closed, so she didn't get a bath. We stopped at the Farmer's market, but only bought some peaches and brownies. Then we walked the town a little and had lunch at McMenamin's.
Joe called us, so we went home, got the checkbook, and went to Mt Angel. We talked for a little while, but he had another customer. He did a lot of things, filters, transmission, shocks, belts, and a fuel sensor. The bill came to $1,300. I stopped at the hamburger place on the way back. The fuel sensor warning went off. So I took the truck back to Joe. He said he'll order an OEM sensor.
Ellen drove the car back. On the way she shit her pants. By the time I got back she'd cleaned the car and was taking a shower. We spent the rest of the afternoon surfing.
I watched football and gun shows in the evening. Dinner was baked potatoes.

Day 1051
We woke up at 8, but didn't get out of bed until 9. It was cold. When we did it was pet stuff and breakfast. Then it was off to do the wash that we didn't get to do yesterday. After the wash we stopped at the bank and Safeway.
It was a nice sunny, warm, day. I didn't feel like going home, so we drove to the farmer's market by Salem. We bought a few things. Then we fueled up at the station by 99 and I5.
When we got home we had lunch. I wanted to shoot, but Ellen's asshole was giving her problems. So I surfed instead. About 4 she decided she could pull for me, so we went out and I shot some targets.
By then it was time for dinner. Dinner was leftover mac and cheese and some jello.
After dinner we watched the Dodgers beat the Rockies. That puts them 2.5 games in first with 10 games left. I was happy.

Day 1050
We got up at 7 today because we had to have Devin at the vet by 8:30. We were on the road before 7:30. We would have had plenty of time, except the traffic jam started just north of the Stafford exit. It lasted until the Lake Oswego exit. That would have been OK except 217 was a parking lot from the overpass north.
We got off at the Kruse way exit and took 72nd through Tigard and Hall up to Beaverton. We managed to get to the vet about 8:20, which was amazing considering the traffic. We dropped Devin off and I texted Hooch to meet him at TCGC. We stopped at the coffee shop in Beaverton on the way.
We shot on the 100 yd line. I sighted in the AR I keep here. I did both the optical and iron sights. The optical started on paper, but the irons took a lot of work. I finished just as we had to leave for Ellen's dentist appointment. We actually got a late start. The appointment was for 12:30. She called them from Sherwood at 12:15. I said we'd be 5 or 10 minutes late. They weren't happy, but agreed.
I got behind every slow truck and driver between there and Allen and Murray. I still managed to get there by 12:40. I went back to the Beaverton coffee shop while Ellen got a crown. She came over afterwards. There's a bakery next door and we bought some cookies for John and Patty.
Patty was running errands and John was rotating the truck tires when we got there. When all of that was done we spent the afternoon and evening talking and drinking. We left about 9:30. It's the last time we will see them until next spring.
When we got home it was feed Devin and go to bed.

Day 1049
We got up about 8:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. I went out and attached a front wheel and handle to the sprayer. After I was done we got in the truck to go see Joe. I've tried to call him a couple of times to schedule work on the truck and he hasn't responded. We got there about 10:30, but he wasn't there.
We needed both cat and dog food for the trip to Texas. So we drove down to the Salem pet store. We bought pet food and a rice bone for Lucy.
Ellen had texted Joe while we were in Mt. Angel. He responded and said he could work on it tomorrow. Ellen misunderstood and thought we should bring it today. So we went home, got the car, and went back to Mt. Angel. Of course Joe wasn't there. I called him and he sad to leave the truck there and the key with the guy at the next shop.
It was after 1 by then, so we ate at a new restaurant i Mt. Angel. It is all day breakfast and very good. Then it was back home where we got out the guns and shot the course. I'm still shooting the new gun really well.
After shooting it was surfing until dinner time. Dinner was various types of mush. After dinner was watching football and baseball. The games were boring so I ended up surfing.

Day 1048
We got up a little after 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. I texted Hooch about his plans, but he didn't respond right away. We just surfed for awhile.
I got Hooch's reply a little before 11. He said they weren't doing much, so we went up there. When we got there the kids were "cleaning" their rooms. Julia was gathering up knitting stuff and Hooch was just hanging out. We talked with Hooch for awhile until one of his friends showed up with a ew GSP puppy.
Alicia found out I couldn't eat anything and fixed me lemon pudding. It was quite an involved process. Then she and Ellen used the leftovers to fix cookies.
Everyone oohed and awwed over the puppy for awhile. Then Hooch took his friend out to see Rowdy's kennel. Then he left with his friend to go see the friend's setup. Ellen and I surfed while Martha and Alicia designed blankets.
When Hooch got back we went to Touchmark to retrieve Tony's phone. He had left it on Mother's table. We only stayed a short time. On the way back we stopped at a little neighborhood store. It was nice - sundries, sandwiches, beer on tap, and coffee. I'll probably take Mom there if the weather is nice.
When we got home Sophia wanted Indian food. So we went to a place by the Safeway on Cornell. Hooch didn't want to go because he didn't like the food. Sophia wanted to go so she could go next door and buy candy. Ellen and I thought the food was OK, not great. Hooch pointed out all of the things they did wrong. He said never again. Afterwards we got ice cream next door while the kids went to the Dollar Store for candy.
When we got home the five of them played a game while I surfed and kibitzed. We left a little after nine. I wanted to make sure I got through Lake Oswego before the assholes started shutting down lanes at 10.
When we got home there was a little TV watching and then bed.

Day 1047
We got up at 8 today, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. I fixed Malt-o-Meal. I made a mess, but it was good. This pudding only diet gets old quick. After a little surfing we went to Clackamas to see John. He has bladder cancer and kidney failure and isn't expected to live for more than a couple of more weeks.
The visit went really well. Luann's husband was there. John was looking good and talking well. So was Angie. We talked together for awhile and then her husband left. We talked some more and Luann showed up. So we had a good conversation with her. We both left when John fell asleep.
After that I went over to Keith's Guns in Gresham to look at the Ceasar Guerini. I decided to buy it. All the people working there were amazed that someone would walk in and buy a $6,500 gun. Keith, the owner, came out to talk to us while we waited for the approval.
On the way back we stopped at a Safeway so I could buy pudding to eat. Ellen had Chinese food. Then we went home. Traffic was amazingly good going up, but I5 was a little slow on the way back.
When we got home I cleaned the new gun. It was coated in a preservative. After that I took it out to shoot. I shot it well. Ellen did good with it, too. We shot about 50 rounds when I noticed that the trigger guard didn't fit the stock very well. I was concerned that the stock bolt was loose, so we quit.
When we got back to the trailer I took off the butt pad. The stock bolt was tight. It's just that the stock to trigger fit is lousy. I'm going to shoot it. If it fails, I'll take it to them at Nationals.
After that it started to rain. We spent the evening surfing and watching TV. Dinner was pudding and some cake.

Day 1046
We got up at 7:30, did the pet stuff, and left for Portland. Traffic wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There was some slowing (not stopping) at Lake Oswego. It was slow again at Denney, but that's where we turned off. We got to the dentist a little after 8:30. The appointment was at 9:30, so we sat until then.
When it was time the sat me in a chair and hooked up a Propaq. I never thought I see one of them again. Then they hooked up an IV and let me sit for awhile. After a little while a whole crew of people came in. They started the drugs and in less than two minutes I was asleep.
The next thing I remember was the nurse telling me to wake up and get out of the chair. Everyone else was gone. She took me to another room with a couch to lay on. Ellen was there. I told her to listen to the nurse's instructions because I wasn't going to retain anything. I just tried to stay awake. I stayed there for awhile, I'm not sure how long I sobered up and we left.
We went to Audi. There was a seat latch in the back seat that wouldn't stay attached. I had them attach it. Then we bought a couple of accessories.
I was hungry, but I can't eat anything that isn't the consistency of pudding. We went to Freddies. Ellen bought a sandwich. I bought pudding,, jello, and mashed potatoes. We sat there and had lunch. After lunch we headed home. Traffic was backed up as soon as we got on I5. We took the Stafford exit and went to Camping World to get TP.
We also stopped at Wally world on the way home. We bought more TP (the time we really like), and a pad for Lucy to use on our bed. That way if she pisses again, we won't care.
When we got home I did a few things. I replaced one of the step carpets on the small trailer with one we bought at Camping World. I also filled a bunch of empty 12 ga cases with 12 ga hulls and gave them to a new worker at the club. I was just glad to get rid of them and I still have at least 1,000.
I took a walk with the dog before dinner. She's still acting weird, sitting by my feet at the kitchen table or in my recliner rather than on the couch.
Dinner was soft food. After dinner was reading and TV.

Day 1045
We got up at 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. I ordered cookies of the month for Mom and then we went to the club. The shoot people were there. Ellen helped with some computer stuff. I went out and set the machines for the flurry. By then it was 11 and we had to leave.
We picked up the cake on the way to Touchmark and got there about noon. We went to Mom's apartment and got her finished getting ready. Then we went to the private dining room upstairs in her building. Hooch and Martha were waiting and Tony and Yo showed up shortly after.
The menu was different than the other building, and really good. We had a good meal. Everyone told stories about current experiences. Afterwards we cut the cake. It wasn't fantastic, but it was good. Mom got sweatshirts from Hooch and flowers and sweets from Tony. I told her about the cookies of the month.
We left about 2:30. Traffic was OK except for slowing through Lake Oswego. We got home at 3, just in time to see Marc take out the VIP's. It started to rain just after we got to the trailer.
We spent the rest of the afternoon in the trailer reading and surfing.
Ellen fixed red beans and rice for dinner. She went to the board meetig afterwards. I watched football.

Day 1044
We didn't get up very early, there wasn't any reason to. After pet stuff and breakfast I put air in the car tires. The low air alarm went off when we were driving up yesterday. The tires were only a few pounds low. I stopped at a couple of places to fill them up, but it cost $1.50 just for air. I decided wo wait until this morning to fill them up at home.
After that we went to the club just to see what was happening. Dave mentioned that Shoot for the Cure would be here tomorrow. Oh crap. We won't be able to help.
About noon the Lake Oswego jewelry store called. They had stones for us to look at. So we drove up there. We had to take a long tour through the town to get there because Stafford Road had construction.
The store had three stones for Melissa's pendant. We picked one. They had pictures (actually poor quality printouts) of garnets to replace the broken one in Ellen's ring. They ranged in price from $5K to $11K. We said pass. We'll have to find stones somewhere else. We can't afford Lake Oswego.
After a stop at the french bakery for sandwiches for dinner we went home. We had another tour of the town because of Stafford. One of the shoot people was at the club, the rest were stuck in traffic.
We went home, had a short nap, and ate the sandwiches for dinner. After dinner was TV- Battle Bots and two movies.

Day 1043
Usually we get up at 7 for a wash day. Today we didn't get up until 8. We did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and left to do the wash. I went to Coastal and bought weed killer while it was meing done. I'll need to apply it soon.
After the wash we went to see mother. It was raining steadily, so I didn't want to take her anywhere. Instead we took her to lunch and then sat in the lounge area and talked.
We left about 1:30. On the way back we stopped at the Beaverton Freddie's and ordered Mom a birthday cake.
When we got home it was still raining. I went out to the small trailer and packed some stuff away. It was sort of the first step towards getting ready to leave. We spent the rest of the day surfing and watching TV. Dinner was a TV dinner. After dinner was more TV.

Day 1042
We got up at 8 today, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and left for Portland. Our first stop was the vet where we left off Fletcher for cremation. Then we stopped at Freddie's for a few minutes for groceries.
By then it was time to go to the dentist. He took some xrays and said he needed to drill the tooth that hurt about a month ago. I told him go ahead. After an hour or so of drilling he informed me that the tooth had to be pulled, gave me a referral, and a bill for $1,000.
I took the referral downstairs. After sitting in the office for over an hour I saw the surgeon. He looked at the pictures, said yes it needed to be pulled. He said an implant would cost $3,700. I said OK, and it's scheduled for Friday morning.
That made for an expensive day.
I called Patty, they were just pulling the trailer in. We went to ST Vincent's for Ellen's glasses, stopped for munchies, and then went to John and Patty. We spent the evening there talking, drinking, and watching football.
We left a little before 10. The drive home was OK. We got lucky and just missed them closing the ramp from 217 to I5.
When we got home it was time for bed.

Day 1041
We got up at 8 again today. After pet stuff, breakfast, and a little surfing we went to the club for the second day of the shoot.
I shot just as bad today as I did yesterday. It didn't help that at least half the targets were left to right. I'm going to have to practice some one eyed shooting.
When we were done we had lunch at the club. They had BLT's. Then we sat an bullshitted for awhile.
When we got back to the trailer we just surfed and watched TV. I had a TV dinner for dinner and a walk afterwards.

Day 1040
We got up at 8 today. After pet stuff and breakfast we surfed for awhile before going to the club. We did the obligatory introductory speech and then went to shoot.
Ellen did OK. I sucked - one of the worst things I shot in years. The whole thing was capped off with a battery dying on the last station. I was the last shooter and had two pairs left when it died. We called, but no one came. I finally gave up and got in the rig to go get a battery. I got about halfway there when I passed Dave coming out with a battery. I was so pissed that I missed the last two pairs. I should have just taken zeros and saved 20 minutes or more.
Ellen had lunch and then did super sporting. I had lunch and then went to see the Ceasar Guerini guy. He located one of the titty guns in Portland for $6,600. I may buy it. It's got 32 inch barrels though, so I'd need to see it.
When Ellen got home she put her stuff away and we went to the club. We spent a couple of hours there bullshitting. Then we had dinner there. They had a prize drawing afterwards. We didn't win anything, but then we only had a couple of tickets in the drawing. Most people had a lot more.
It was 7:30 and cold by the time it was done. The Polaris was really low on gas, so I went out and got gas for it.
The rest of the evening was TV and surfing.

Day 1039
We woke up at 7:30, but didn't get out of bed until 9:15. We just stayed in bed and surfed. When we did get up it was pet stuff and breakfast. After that it was surfing.
Since I wasn't going to shoot the subgauge, I decided to clean those guns and put them away. The 28 ga must have been cleaned before we came up. It only had 50 rounds through it, so it wasn't dirty. The 20 gauge was a little dirty, so I gave it a quick cleaning.
After that we wet to the club. Ellen talked to the Ceasar Guerini about her gun. The guy took some pictures to talk to the gun smith. I also talked to him about a gun I liked that's out of production. He's going to send me pictures of one.
The food people were there because of the tournament. They weren't serving BLT's, so we ate lunch at the trailer. After lunch we took the dog swimming. She really enjoyed herself. Then we stopped at Jones Farm. They had seeded watermelons, so I bought one along with some pears.
When we got home we just surfed. There didn't seem to be any reason to go to the club. About 5:30 Ellen went into the bedroom. Fletcher was laying on the bed dead. He hadn't been dead long, the body was still warm. We won't be able to take him to the vet to be cremated until Monday, so I got a ammo box from the burn pile and put him in it. Then I took him to the shed.
There was no indication this morning that Fletcher was that bad off. Both Ellen and I are pretty torn up by his death - I don't want to write any more about it.
When Fletcher died he vomited on the bed, so we had to strip it and take it to the laundromat. The place was pretty crowded, but there were plenty of open machines. We got back a little before 8.
Ellen put the bed together while I fed Lucy and Devin and put away all of Fletcher's stuff. We'll take all the vet supplies and food to the vet to donate. I also put away the duplicate kitty bowls an disassembled the IV bag holder.
Devin is not tied up anymore, but we kept the leash on him. He's been going all over the bedroom trying to locate Fletcher. I doubt he'll remember Fletcher for long.
The rest of the evening was TV.
I'm going to miss Fletcher when I go to bed. He's been sleeping with me for years.

Day 1038
We got up at 9 today, I just decided to sleep in. After pet stuff, breakfast, and a little surfing we left for Salem so I could get a haircut. The lady gave me a good one.
When we were done we went to Sportman's Warehouse. We had a coupon and Winchester was having a rebate on their shells. Between the rebate and coupon we bought two cases of AA 20 ga for $118. That's a real deal. After a stop at Winco for bananas we went home.
We ate lunch at home and surfed until 2. Then we shot with Gerry and Travis. Afterwards Gerry and I went to get a couple of pizzas before the member's meeting.
The member's meeting was a cluster fuck. Heitlof presented a slanted and dishonest version of the money the Fiedlers have paid the club during their time here.
Afterwards Ellen went to an impromptu board meeting. I did a walk and then surfed. The rest of the evening was TV.

Day 1037
We got up at 9 today, did pet stuff and had breakfast. Then we surfed for awhile. Abou:30 we left for Lake Oswego.
The jeweler Tom recommended is just what we wanted. They do custom work and had a lot of nice pieces. They had a pendant design that will work great next year with our tanzanite. We showed them Melissa's pendant and Ellen rings. They said they might have sample replacement stones in a week or so. They had a ice set of sapphire earrings on sale, and we bought them.
We had lunch at a nice cafe next door. The food was good, but the service wasn't very good. After that we walked around downtown Lake Oswego. It was fun.
We stopped for gas and the mail on the way home. It was over 90 when we got home, so we stayed in the trailer and surfed and watched TV.
Ellen fixed pork chops for dinner. After dinner I took a walk and we watched TV.

Day 1036
We got up at 6 today, and were on the road to Portland by 6:30. We ran into minor slowdowns at Wilsonville and Lake Oswego, but we still got to the dentist by 7:15. They weren't open yet, so we got cinnamon rolls at Beaverton Bakery.
I took Ellen back to the dentist, it was open by then. Then I went to a coffee shop about 3 blocks away to drink mocha and surf. She was done a little after 9.
Then we headed to a laundromat on Saltzman near Hooch's place. It wasn't very nice, but it was convenient. We got done with it about 11:30 and went over to Hooch's place.
I helped Hooch put a mattress cover on the heavy Temperpedic mattress in the living room. Then we moved Alicia's old mattress to the garage and lugged the new one upstairs. That was hard work. Then we spent some time moving stuff for Goodwill to the truck.
When the truck was full the plan was to go to Goodwill. Unfortunately Rowdy had decided to go on a walkabout. We all went searching. It took about half an hour to scare him out of the woods and back home. Then Hooch, Alicia, Ellen, and Ifinally left.
We stopped at Goodwill and a mattress shop. Then we went to an arcade place. We played games for a couple of hours.
When we got home Hooch had to take Sophia somewhere. Ellen, Alicia, and Martha worked on a puzzle. I surfed and drank.
Hooch got home about 7. Martha fixed rice and chicken for dinner. We left a little after.
When we got home I filled the fresh water tank. I'd just started to take a shower when the pump fuse blew. I had to get out, dry off, and go fix it.
The rest of the evening was surfing.

Hooch got home about 7. Martha fixed rice and chicken for dinner. We left a little after.
When we got home I filled the fresh water tank. I'd just started to take a shower when the pump fuse blew. I had to get out, dry off, and go fix it.
The rest of the evening was surfing.

Day 1035
We got up today at 9, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then it was surfing for awhile. We left for Portland when we got around to it - about 11.
We stopped on the way at Safeway. We bought a cold cut plate, cookies, and beer. It turned out to be a great decision. When we got to Hooch's place everyone had some, and there was plenty left over.
We talked for awhile. Hooch, Ellen, Martha, ans Sophia played a game. I surfed and fell asleep. When I woke up Ellen and Martha were doing a puzzle and Hooch was outside with his guitar. Some part on his guitar came loose, so we went to a guitar place to get it fixed. We also stopped at Fred Meyer to get the anti-theft thing removed from the sweatshirt Ellen bought for Alicia yesterday. Ellen didn't get it removed when she bought it.
When we got home Hooch made up some of the alcoholic ice tea we had at Sunriver. Then we sat on the deck and got drunk. Hooch got into a war with Alicia over who was going to use the single user internet music service. They went back and forth turning each other off. He finally won by shutting off her access.
We didn't have dinner. Instead we ate the rest of the cold cut plate. It worked really well.
We left about 8:30. Thankfully they weren't working on the freeway. When we got home we watered and fed the cats and watched TV. It was early to bed, we have to get up at 6 tomorrow.

Day 1034
We got up at 9 - no reason to get up earlier. After pet stuff and breakfast I went out and drained the black tank. I also got cat food out of the small trailer and brought in the wash. When that was done we took the Ranger to the dumpster. On the way we met Garrett and Gerry. We were going to shoot with them, but they were just finishing up.
We went to the club to bullshit. I called hooch, but he didn't answer. A little later he called and we decided to go up there.
When we got up there Hooch was taking the kids shoe shopping. So we went along. We ended up going to three stores to get acceptable stuff. It was late when we finished, so we met Martha at Spaghetti Factory for dinner.
We all ate more than we should have. It was 8 by the time we were done. We went back to Hooch's place for a little while and then left.
They were fucking up I5 again tonight, so we had to sit in the traffic for 20 minutes or so. The stupid travel time signs didn't warn us.
When we got home it was water the cat and feed them both. Then it was time for bed.

Day 1033
We got up at 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Shortly after Debbe came over to kiss and make up. I guess we're going to shoot together.
After that I called hooch. They were going to a movie and he had to fight with Alicia about homework. We decided to pass. Instead we went to John and Patty's. We stopped to buy cookies, cheese, meat, crackers and beer. When we got there Ellen fixed up a snack board.
We spent the day eating, drinking, and watching football. It was fun.
We left about 9:30 and stopped for gas on the way home. When we got home it was a little TV and then bed.
