We slept in again today (a nice habit). When we got up we went to the club. We shot a practice 5-stand. It wasn't near as much fun as yesterday because the wind wasn't blowing the targets out. I ran the dog afterwards, which made her very happy and a lot calmer.
We hung around a bit and then shot the K-cup. The course was an easy one. It was the sort of course that you would see at a tournament in Oregon. I sucked a little and Ellen sucked a lot. I shot at least 10 birds less than I should have. I topped it off by missing 3 on the last station.
Shooting the K-cup took 2 and a half hours. So we had a late (3:30) lunch. We sat around awhile and then met up with Dorie. We talked about the Western and settled on a 300 bird main and a 200 bird prelim. No 5-stand, but we'll set up a couple of games on the 5-stand fields.
We didn't win anything in the contests and drawings at the end of the day (want to see my surprise face?). We did get a good dinner of German food courtesy of Blazer.
We got home late and I just did a couple of things in preparation for leaving tomorrow. We'll have to get up reasonably early to get the rest done.
