It was a short travel day. We only had to go about 250 miles. So I just turned off the alarm when it went off and went back to sleep. We got up about 45 minutes later, ate breakfast, and started to pack up. We left the park before 9 (10 their time). The first stop was the US Bank across the street. We wanted to make sure that the check we got in Hurricane was deposited ASAP. Ellen said that they had to call the bank in Hurricane to verify the check. Apparently the teller there didn't log the check correctly, so that caused some confusion. Everything worked out though.
The trip was uneventful, although there seemed to be more than the usual quota of asshole truckers on the road. I passed one guy three times. Fuel is really expensive in Idaho. We paid $4.19 at one place.
When we got to Mountain Home it was only 2 our time. So I unhooked and we went to explore the place. There really wasn't that much to see. We stopped at a pawn shop, but they didn't have any good shoes. We did find an old style diner place. So we went back there for dinner.
The park has a great field for the dog to play in. We took her there to run and do retrieves. She only did 6 retrieves. I think this valley fever has really made her sick.
I finished fixing the first window crack. It worked so well that we bought another kit at Wally World. It was different, and cheaper. It was easier to use and handled more than one nick. So I fixed the other two nicks. You can't see them unless you know where they were. Hopefully this will keep all of them from running.
