I woke up about 8, did some game playing, and then got up. After pet stuff and breakfast it was start the wash. Ellen had a doctor's appointment at 11:30, so it was kill time until it was time to leave.
The appointment was with the asshole doctor. He's always running behind schedule. I played games in the truck, so I'm not sure how long it was until Ellen came out. It was a goodly amount of time.
After that we went to Covert. They had sent us an email about a $100 gift certificate. Unfortunately the offer had expired. I asked service about the satellite radio turning off. They didn't have a clue. I ordered some tailgate lights for the truck. I don't need them, but they look cool.
We stopped at Rudy's for lunch. I was tired of eating ham for sandwiches. On the way home it was the post office and HEB for bananas.
When I got home I decided to put the 7 gallons of diesel I bought at the start of the bullshit in the truck. The spout for the can is moronic. It's spring loaded with a "safety". You have to hook the spout on the rim of the filler tube, press the safety, and then compress the spout against a strong spring. Not doable with a heavy tank. I used the spout from an old tank instead.
When I was finished I did surgery on the extra spout I purchased by mistake. I removed the spring. I also cut off the bullshit tab that keeps you from unscrewing the cap. It's not a complete fix, but at least the spout is semi-usable.
Due to the 85 degree, 95% humidity I was soaked with sweat when I was done. So I took a shower. Then I fixed the frozen lasagna for dinner. I surfed and read while it was cooking. I also went out and got the new RV locks. I was really happy to find that they had the right key number. Someone at the manufacturer is on the ball.
After dinner I went out to the trailer to do the preliminary work for the new locks. I drilled out the pop rivets on the old locks. I also programmed the new fobs to work with the currently installed locks. By then it was too dark to do more.
After that it was more surfing and a little reading.
