I woke up at 7:30 and played games for quite a while. It's another cold day, but a little warmer - all the way to 37. When the games were done I got up for pet stuff and breakfast. After a little surfing I got out the stuff to work on the Ryft.
The work started out well. I selected a smaller pinion and got it installed. It meshes very well. Then I began to install the servo. That didn't go well. The kit's servo savor wouldn't go on either the high power servo I purchased or the stock one. I tried pressing it on with a C clamp. All I accomplished was killing $40 worth of servos. I put the stuff away and hit Amazon.
I ordered another servo. I also found a kit from Axial that contained the servo parts. It has additional parts that should make it fit the new servo. I sure hope so. I was really disappointed that I couldn't ake more progress on the Ryft.
After ordering the stuff i took out the garbage and brought in a couple of packages. Then I had a sandwich for a really late lunch. After that I started watching documentary videos on Youtube. I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening doing that.
A note on my eye. I can no longer see the bubble. It "disappeared" during the day. I bet it's like the left eye, just "below" (actually above) my field of vision now. I definitely have a new crop of floaters though. I hope they die down.
