Day 2395

I woke up a little before 8 and played games until 9  There was no point in getting up, it was raining cats and dogs.  After pet stuff and breakfast I decided to surf for a while until the rain stopped.  I didn't.  I ended up surfing the entire morning. To make up for not working on the Kraton I watched videos on working on the diffs.  I think I can do it fairly easily.

I also read the instructions for the CPAP machine that I got yesterday.  It's pretty complicated.  I won't  be able to use it until we get some distilled water.  I'm pretty sure I won't like using it.

Devon's vet appointment was at 2:15.  They said that if we were more than 15 minutes late they would cancel the appointment.  To make sure we got there in time we had lunch and then left at 1.

It was good we left early.  There was a crash on I5 that backed up traffic from Donald.  We had to drive up on 99 and get on I5 at the Canby exit.  We got lucky.  We didn't have to stop at any lights in either Woodburn or Hubbard.  We did get hung up a little at a stop sign just before the entrance.

I5 and 217 were moving pretty well.  We got to the vet a half hour early.  The bad news was southbound traffic was stop and go from Beaverton to past Wilsonville.  We weren't going back that way.

We waited until after the appointment to get in.  At least they let us in with masks.  They examined Devon and couldn't find anything obvious.  The tests will be back early next week.  We left there a little after 3.

We drove to Murray and took it south past Scholl's ferry.  Ellen's map app took us on a bunch of back roads that eventually led to 99.  We drove on 99 for a while and then drove on a new road that took us all the way down to Tonquin.  We crossed Tonquin and went to farther south on back roads.  We eventually got to the Fred Meyer gas station in Wilsonville.

We waited for 20 minutes to get gas.  I had to us a lane opposite the gas cap.  The jerk pumping gas said we had to use another lane.  That meant another 20 minute wait.  I was tired and cranky, so I cursed him out and left.  We fought more traffic getting on to I5, but it wasn't super terrible.  After that the drive home was OK.

We got home a little before 5.  We had frozen fish for dinner.  After dinner was a movie and a bunch more TV.
