I woke up at 7:30 and played games for a while. Then it was up for pet stuff and breakfast. After breakfast I got out everything I needed to finish the Jeep. Ellen started cooking. I helped by taking the turkey outside and draining it. That removed any possibility of a big mess.
Ellen worked for hours making all of the ingredients for a complete Thanksgiving dinner. She did a really good job.
I started by finishing up the work on the frame of the Jeep. I installed the rest of the body magnets, dressed the wires, and mounted the power switch. Then I moved to the body. I spent some time cutting and stripping wires. Then I twisted them together and soldered them. For once I didn't forget the heat shrink on any of them. The final step was attaching the mounting magnets.
When I was done I put the body on the frame and it fit perfectly. After that I put it away. I still need to test and program it, but I didn't feel like doing anything else. Instead I took out the garbage and put the cans out.
Ellen finished with the cooking about the time I finished with the garbage. She surfed and I watched videos. Eventually the turkey was done and she started serving everything up. That took a while, there was a lot of stuff. I felt bad that after all that work all I ate was turkey, mashed potatoes, and rolls.
After dinner I went back to Amain to shop. I kind of wanted to buy another kit, but I couldn't justify buying an expensive motor for it. The trouble was I couldn't find a cheap one. I finally gave up and went back to videos.
The videos turned into a nap, which eventually became videos again. All in all it was a good Thanksgiving.
