Day 3283

 I woke up at 8 and played games for a while.  Then it was up for pet stuff and breakfast.  After that I decided to do some work in the garage.

I installed the additional battery holder that I bought a few days ago.  I had to modify it a little, but it came out good.  Then I re-positioned some of the ones I installed earlier to make the batteries easier to access.  Then I unboxed Melissa's present and took the shipping box to the recycle.   Finally I got some parts for the RC work and took them along with Melissa's present to the house.

I'd planned on replacing the connectors on the batteries I'd purchased last week.  Unfortunately I didn't have enough connectors.  I ended up replacing two, along with making up a connector conversion wire.  Of course I ordered more connectors.  I also ordered a box for the took instructions and a couple of lights for the new RC.

By then it was almost 1.  I fixed a salad for lunch.  As I was sitting down the water softener guy came.  He got to work and I ate lunch followed by some surfing.

It took a couple of hours for the new install.  The installer showed me the insides of the old softener.  It was trashed.  He totally redid the plumbing around the softener and put in a smaller salt tank.  There's a lot more room in the well house now.

I sat down to watch videos and fell asleep.  I woke up in time to feed the cats.

After a few more videos I had leftovers for dinner.  The rest of the evening was videos and surfing.
