Day 3390

I woke up around 8, got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast.  Then I went outside to poison the environment.

The weather was pretty good.  It was high 60's, cloudy, and there was a slight breeze.  The sprayer worked perfectly when I got it out and tested it.  I had some trouble muscling the mower out of the shed, but it wasn't too bad.  I did have just enough Roundup, but plenty of the other chemicals.

The replacement pump I got last year for the sprayer worked really well.  Because it was so consistent I managed to do the whole property with one tankful.  With the spraying done I put away the sprayer and mower.  Then I got out the applicator and spread out a bag of Casoron.  I only covered the lower part of the parking lot.  I think that will be enough since that's where most of the emergent stuff is growing.

I put the applicator away.  Then I put salt in the water softener and took a sack of bird seed down to the deck.  It filled up 1.5 cans.  With all that done I went inside and had a long extensive shower.

I was pretty tired after that and spent about 45 minutes in the recliner recovering.  Then we went to run the dog.  By then it was in the 70's and sunny.  We went to Circle C and ran Abby on a somewhat truncated course.  She still got her miles in.  Unfortunately twice she didn't obey the whistle.  That earned her a couple of zaps.

When that was done we went to the post office and Doc's Backyard.  Doc's was having a 1/2 price sale on their hamburgers.  The hamburgers were really good and so were the fries.  I had a "whiskey icee" which was expensive, but great.  They were 1/2 lb hamburgers, so half of each one came home with us.

When we got home I more or less finished sorting the box of RC lights.  Then I sat down to videos and a nap.

Dinner was the leftover hamburger and fries.  It was still really good.  After dinner was more videos.

I'm really glad to have the poisoning done.  The only pains inn the ass left to do are wash the vehicles and spread a little gravel.
