Day 3767

 I woke up at 7:30,and got up to feed the pets and have breakfast.  Then we took the car to Audi.  We left Abby at home.

They took the car in right away.  I suspect the program didn't take much time.  However Ellen had scratched a wheel and that took 3 hours.  At least we didn't have to pay for it.  While we were there I ran into the manager.  He asked why we were there, so I told him.  I gave him the whole story and was careful to be really nice about it.  He acted concerned and said he'd talk to the service department.  I think he's mainly concerned that he's going to get the car back.  We never got a call from the lawyer referral, so that's something we'll have to take up in the fall.

We got out of the dealership about noon.  The car's working, but who knows how long.  We stopped at the donut place and got donuts and kolaches.  I got 2, one for lunch and one for dinner.  Ellen had a doctor's appointment at 1:30, so we decided to do errands.

We stopped at Lowe's and got salt.  They didn't have the bathroom light bulbs, so we stopped at Home Depot for them.  Then we went to the post office to mail the farm papers.  We made a short stop at HEB for bananas and salads and the the doctor's office.  I waited in the car and played games.

We got home about 3.  I went to the apartment and packed up the ammo that we will need for the trip.  I'll put it and the cart in the truck tomorrow.  I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening on surfing and videos.  I did get a 2+ mile walk in after dinner.  I felt guilty for missing the morning walk.
