We drove to Boise today. It wasn't a notable drive except for two things. First, fuel is highway robbery. Diesel is $3 or more per gallon. Second, the leg from Twin Falls to Boise bucked a strong headwind. I should have been getting over 13. Instead I got 10.8.
We got to Boise about 1:00. So after setting up I decided to go see some gun stores. We went to three. One had a lot of guns. They looked neat, but I didn't see anything I had to have. At another we got into a long conversation with the guys behind the desk (there weren't any other customers). I ended up buying some overpriced .22 there just to buy something.
On the way home we stopped at a park and ran the dog. She was really happy to do some running. She did 17 >40 yd retrieves before she called it quits.
There's no cable TV here. So I read in the evening while Ellen watched on-air TV.
