I got up before 8 and played games for a while. Then it was up for pet stuff and breakfast. It was cold this morning, low 50's. I surfed until it warmed up some.
When the temperature got up to the mid 60's I went outside to the shed. I got out the Casoron and proceeded to distribute all over the gravel area. It took a little over a bag to do it. It wasn't fun, but it represents the last unpleasant thing to do before we leave (at least if you don't count washing the vehicles).
I went back inside and took a shower. I was covered with Casoron dust. Ellen put my clothes in a pastic bag to wash separately. By then it was lunch time, a sandwich.
After lunch I surfed and watched videos. Eventually that got boring, so I went out to the shed to work on the new truck. I put some decals on it. I also determined that the axle extensions couldn't be modified to work on it.
I decided to make a wooden bed for the truck. I spent quite a while making up a cardboard template. It was complicated because the shock towers and the axle "hump" need to protrude through it. Once I had the template complete I took it inside. I wanted Ellen to help decide its length and how hid the box side should be. I got it all finished just about dinner time. The next step will be getting some balsa.
Dinner was leftovers. After dinner was various videos on the TV. It's sure nice not to have to stress about the axles.
