I woke up about 7:30, played games for a while, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. After that it was surfing and videos until about 9:30. That's because the places we wanted to go to didn't open until 10.
The first stop was the Goodwill at the Y. I was looking for lifting weights. They didn't have any. We continued onto the post office and then went to the Lego store at Barton creek Mall. I had a $32 discount there. I bought the only kit that moved that they had. It's a material loader that powered pneumatically.
Our next stop was a used sporting goods store near Harbor Freight. They had used weights, but they were way too expensive. We stopped at the Goodwill next to Harbor Freight and hit the jackpot. They had a set of 25, 10, and 5 pound weights (two each) for $16. The used place wanted that much for one 10 pound weight.
The next two stops were harbor Freight for gloves and Inn-n-Out for lunch. The last stop was Central Market and the outdoor store next door. We got orange juice and halibut at Central Market and a couple of shirts at the outdoor store.
When we got home I set up the baby wall. Then I went out to the garage and built a couple of anchors out of 10 pound weights and some threaded rod I had left over from some project. They seem to work OK, but I may need to do some fine tuning.
After that it was videos until dinner - Ellen fixed the halibut. It was great. After dinner I started to put together the Lego set. I doubt I'll get a chance once the dog comes.
I worked through step one (of 3) on the Lego and then quit. The rest of the evening was videos.
All in all I think it was a good "low impact" day.
