Day 3139

I woke up at 5:30 because the power went off.  That stopped the CPAP.  I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't.  Since it was only a half hour before I was going to get up I just got up early.

I fed the cats and got ready to go.  We left a little after 6.  The trip was smooth sailing until we got to the rest stop.  Then things slowed down to under 30, but they didn't stop.  They speeded up again once we were past Wilsonville.  It's good that we left early though.  I could see that were such that traffic was going to get snarled in 15 to 30 minutes.

We made it to the vet a little after 7.  We were supposed to be there at 7:30.  They opened the doors a little early and we dropped off the dog.  Then we went to Tom's Pancakes for breakfast.  We got the timing right and there was plenty of room.  We had a good breakfast and sat there surfing until 9:30.  Then we went to John and Patty's.

We spent the rest of the morning and the first part of the afternoon talking.  I think we solved all of the world's problems.  Patty fixed ham sandwiches for lunch.  They vet called about 3 to tell us to pick up Abby.  Apparently everything went well.  I picked up the 22 and the trap gun before we left.

We drove back to the vet.  Traffic was building on the surface streets and there was a wreck on I5 at Tualatin.  That meant another trip through Newberg.  Traffic down to Newberg seemed a little lighter than last time, but I kept hitting the lights bad.  Traffic out of Newberg was heavier, but moving well.  We got home at 5.

We fed the cats and tried to feed Abby, but she wasn't interested.  I drained the tanks and then stated watching videos.

Abby was very weird the whole evening.  I think she was stoned.  She eventually ate his dinner after several false starts.  She also wanted to go out continually.  I'm hoping that things are better tomorrow.  I feel sorry for her.

I didn't eat dinner, just a couple of snacks.  I quite videos about 9 and spent the rest of the evening surfing.
