I woke up a little after 7, fed the pets, and went back to bed to play games. Eventually I got up for breakfast. After that I took Abby for her walk.
Dave has mowed parts of the course that he's never mowed before. He's flattened a lot of the high gress that Abby lies to run in. She had fun anyway though.
When we got back I got out the 6x6. I cut out the body. I mounted the tires, but didn't glue them. The tires are squishy soft and need foams. I ordered some on Amazon. By the it was lunch time. We decided to go to Elmer's. It was pricey, but very good. I brought home half my meal.
We stopped at the post office. There were three packages - a water filter, the servos for the 6x6, and the receiver and body for the micro-b. When we got home I cut out the micro-b body.
The receiver came with NO instructions. Also, the pins aren't soldered to the board. I might have to get a tip for my soldering iron to do that. I did find instructions, but they are minimal.
After that I went outside. It was hot, but bearable (mid 80's). I replaced the water filter. Then I got out a hose and sprayer and washed the leftover salt into the ground. I picked up what was left with my hands and hauled it away. The two places that had salt are almost completely clean now.
I was hot and tired when I got done, so I watched videos when I got back inside. That became a short nap.
Ellen fixed hot dogs for dinner. After dinner was half and half videos and surfing.
