We didn't do a whole lot today. Dan had some appointments in the morning and I decided to give both of them a day off from dealing with us.
We surfed for awhile in the morning and I took the dog over and had her do some retrieves. Then Lawrence called. He ordered $350 worth of parts for our poles. He also decided on $10/hr for labor (he really wanted to charge less). So we walked over and gave him a check. He immediately went over to Halfway to deposit it.
After Lawrence we decided to go to Halfway to see if we could buy Dan some cherry diet Coke. Both the stores there didn't have it. In fact, they didn't have much of anything. We stopped at the pizza place and I had a real milkshake and Ellen had a real ice cream cone.
We came back and I had a nap. Then we went over to dinner with Dan's friend Dave. It was nice - barbeque chicken and strawberry/blueberry pie.
