Today was an 8 hour, 440 mile, drive to Benson AZ. Mileage wasn't
spectacular, because there was a lot of up and down. In the first leg
we got 10.8. That wasn't bad considering that there was a 2500 foot
gain in elevation.
The other two legs were over 12, even though one had a regen.
We
went around Phoenix on loop 303. It was much improved over what we saw
last time. Most of it is now freeway except for a couple of miles of
construction. Getting on to I10 was a bit of a pain because the
intersection isn't finished yet. It still beat hell out of going in to
Phoenix. We'll go this way from now on.
The park that we are staying at is really nice.
