We spent the day waiting for a TV that never came.
That sounds worse than it really was. We went to breakfast at Bert's with Dan and Don and Cynthia. We had a great time talking. When that was finished Don went to see Lawrence, Dan went to run the dogs and the rest of us went to Dan's place. We talked for hours.
At lunch time we decided to go to the Shorthorn and do more talking. So we did. After lunch the talking died down while we all read or took naps.
I went with Dan to run the dogs in the afternoon. We went to the sportsman's access. We saw some quail on the road. When we got there the dogs scared up four pheasants, all hens. They also scared up a covey of quail down by the river.
Then it was back to Dan's place for more conversation and dinner.
All in all I thought it was a fine day.
