Day 7

The day started out cold, so we stayed in the trailer.  Ellen worked and I surfed.  About 11 we decided to go over to Dan's.

Don and Cynthia wanted to go to the Post Office, Mercantile, and Thorny's.  I tagged along.  When we got to the Mercantile we got hot chocolate and and a maple bar.  Then we gabbed.  Ellen joined us and we gabbed some more.  I happened to look out of the window and saw Lucy running down the street.  Ellen hadn't taken care of her and she was looking for us.  She'd tracked Ellen's scent from Dan's to the Mercantile.  I took her home.

After Thorny's we went back to Dan's and yacked some more.  It turned out that the TV won't be here until Monday.  Dan got cabin fever so we all went up Eagle Creek.  We stopped at the campground and then did a short hike up a trail.  I think Dan was a little disappointed.  I think he wanted to sit in the quite and enjoy the place.  Don, Cynthia and us just yacked.

After we got back we took the dogs for a run.  Then it was time to go to dinner at Dave's.  It was great.  Spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna.  We sat on their deck around a fire pit and yacked and ate.  About 8 we said our good byes.  We also said good bye to Don and Cynthia.  They are leaving at 7 tomorrow morning.
