We got up at 7:30, had breakfast, did the pet stuff and packed up to leave. I had a pretty good night leg pain wise and my leg was feeling better in the morning. Despite trying to hurry, we didn't leave the park until 8:30.
The trip to Baker was uneventful. I took it easy on the curves. We did have to wait a few minutes for construction. We fueled up at the Shell station. It was 70 cents cheaper than the standard station. Then it was off on the freeway.
There wasn't any drama on the freeway. Even the trucks were easy to deal with. Mileage as 10. Not bad considering it was all up hill or down hill in order to go back up. There was no weird wear on the tires and no unscheduled bathroom stops. All in all it was a perfect trip. We even found a new place to get fuel that was reasonably priced and easy to access.
The only sticking point was the regen. The truck didn't regen until 800 miles. The entire regen was done on the highway. When it was done the soot level was still 28%. Last time that happened the truck threw a code on the next regen. In the next 80 miles to Tremonton the level went up to 49%. I'm a little concerned, we'll just have to wait and see.
We lost an hour on time zones today. The cats were happy with the meal times. We setup, unhooked, and went to fuel up. When we got back I decided to wait until tomorrow to line the truck up. I'll probably regret that.
The rest of the short evening was watching videos on the tablet. I went to bed early to offset having to get up at what will feel like 6:30 tomorrow.
