We went to a breakfast buffet with Dee and her husband and one of their friends today. Then we went shooting. It was a lot of fun. The targets were a little easy, but we made them harder by shooting pairs and different orders. There were 20 stations, so there was a lot of variety. The club rents machine guns, so tomorrow I'm going over there to shoot a MP5.
After that we went to get Lucy some more dog food. The place we found on the web in Boulder City didn't exist any more. So we stopped for lunch at an old style diner. It was a pretty good place and we could sit outside with the dog.
We had to drive all the way to Henderson to find a pet store. They had some cool food and a water jacket. It was expensive, but we thought Lucy would do good in it. I also got a Mother's day card for the one we lost.
When we got home we just hid out from the heat. When it cooled off in the evening Ellen tried to adjust the antenna again. She spent at least half an hour messing with it. She finally got a signal. It still took 10 minutes of screwing around to fine tune it. Now she's watching some chick flick.
