Today was the long drive to Homedale, ID. It was made longer by a half hour stop at a Nevada construction zone. It was made even longer by a stop at a tire shop. About 20 miles out from Homedale the tire pressure alarm went off. The right back tire only had 55 pounds of pressure in it. We had no cell signal (it's Idaho). After a few miles Ellen got a signal. She looked up the closest tire place and called them. They were about to close, but they stayed open for us.
The tire had a screw in it. The screw was just long enough to cause a slow leak. No telling where we got it. They fixed it and rebalanced the tire. They wanted to charge use $12. I gave them $20.
The only other notable thing about the 9 hour trip was that we got to pay the most for Diesel that we've paid on this trip. The fuel price in McDermitt was $4.79.
Poor Lucy. The campground we are at is right on the Snake River. Only she can't swim. There's also at least three squirrels playing outside. She's standing by the door looking out at them. One came within 5 feet of the door.
I'm tired tonight. I'm going to surf a little bit and then go to bed.
