Day 13

A good time was had by all today - except Lucy.  She didn't get to go to the lake today because we spent the morning doing the wash instead.  Tuesday must have been wash day.  There were people there all morning and again at 9 at night.

After the wash was done we drove over to the other side of the strip so I could shoot machine guns.  We went to the same place we went to in May.  It was a lot of fun.  I shot the Thompson, a M2, and a 1919.  The M2 had a lot more recoil than I expected.  It was harder to shoot then the Thompson.

After that we stopped at the zombie store.  It's only a few blocks from the range.  I picked up a t-shirt.  From there it was a short distance to the archery store.  So we stopped there and Ellen bought a bow case.

After that we went to the strip.  We parked at MGM and went North.  We went to the Tropicana, New York New York, Monte Carlo, Aria, and Belagio.  We had very good luck playing slots.  We won at almost every machine.  All total we were up $40.

Our goal was Margaritaville and the ferris wheel.  We got there with the help of the tram from Aria to Belagio.  We ate dinner there and then went to the ferris wheel gift shop to get another key chain.  Then it was time for the long trek back.  It was a long walk, even with the help of the tram.  The fitbit registered over 20,000 steps for the day.  We made one stop at the Coca Cola store to buy a bear Christmas ornament.

We got home about 9:00.  That meant Lucy was locked up for 9 hours.  Ellen took her to pee.  She did so immediately.  We're not sure if it was an emergency, or  if she just wanted to get back for dinner.
