We got up with the alarm today. We did the pet stuff and then left to vote. I loaded up a bunch of stuff for Goodwill before we left. Traffic over to Dripping Springs was pretty heavy. I'm not sure why, there's nothing there. On the way there we saw two bucks. One was just outside our gate. The other was on Nutty Brown road near Belterra. He was smart. He waited for the cars before crossing the road. When we got to Dripping Springs we had to wait for 3 or 4 cycles of the RR12 light to get through.
Luckily it wasn't like that at the voting lace. There were only 3 or 4 people ahead of us. I really didn't take long to vote.
On the way back we stopped at the coffee shop for breakfast. I wasn't very hungry, so I just had a cinnamon roll. Ellen had eggs. Lucy didn't get anything. The next stop was Goodwill. We dropped off the stuff and went inside. It had a lot of stuff. We bought a couple of small items. We went over to Home Depot just to see what they had. We ended up buying some Christmas lights for the gate and a couple of small tools that were part of there Christmas sales.
The last stop in Dripping Springs was the park. Lucy did 15 or 16 long retrieves. Then we headed to the post office. After the post office we went to lunch at the Thai place. Lucy got some treats. Home Depot had been fun, so we went over to Lowe's. Their Christmas stuff isn't up yet, so we didn't buy anything.
By then it was after 1 and we were tired. So we went home. The rest of the afternoon was surfing, Minions, and reading. I met Lee when we went out to get the mail. He said the buck has been wrecking his new trees. He's going to kill it with a bow if he can't protect the trees.
The evening was TV, reading, and Minions.
