I woke up before the alarm again today. So I started playing Minions. I did that until about 8:30. Then I got up, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. It rained off and on throughout the morning, so I really didn't have anything to do today. I did a lot of surfing.
About 1 I got board enough to construct something to do. I went out to the garage to make sure that the receiver there didn't work anymore. It doesn't. So I did a little surfing. I found a suitable replacement on Amazon. On a lark I looked at Best Buy. They had the same one in stock. Both places charge sales tax. So we went there.
I picked up the receiver, the last one they had. Then we looked at TV's. I'm still getting my head around spending $4K on a TV. We looked at some other stuff, but didn't buy anything.
Ellen wasn't feeling well, so we headed in the direction of home. We stopped at HEB for lunch stuff. We also stopped at Circle C to run the dog. Of course thee wasn't anyone there. She did 20 retrieves. As she was doing them I watched the rain approaching from the west. It started to rain just as she finished.
I rained hard on the way home and was raining hard when we got home. We got kind of wet going from the car to the house. It continued raining for some time. The total for today was .9 inches.
The rest of the day was surfing, reading, and TV. Ellen fell asleep about 7:30, so I watched the football game.
