We woke up at 7 today, but stayed in bed surfing for over an hour. WE got a lot accomplished today anyway. After pet stuff and breakfast we left for Dripping Springs to set the tags for the car. I screwed up and took the long way there. Then we had to wait. When we were done I didn't think we had a chance of making the dog's 11:00 appointment.
We got to the vet at 10:45. The trip took at most half an hour, probably less. I couldn't believe it. Lucy liked going into the building, but she sure didn't like it when the tech took her to the back room. She got treats afterwards.
The next stop was to pick up the suppressor. They've finally completed fucking around with the Mopac. Traffic was moving nicely. I got the suppressor and had a nice talk with the owner. Then we stopped at Rudy's on the way back. I forgotten how good the BBQ is.
We also stopped at the post office and Walgreen's on the way back. When we got home the rain had stopped, the clouds were gone, and it was hot and humid. I decided to fix the truck canopy. I took down the torn tarps and replaced the three broken guy wires. Then I hung the new tarp. Then end result looks very nice. I was soaked with sweat when it was done.
I went inside and started work on putting the guns away. It took over two hours. I finally managed to fit everything except 2 uppers and a scope in the safes.
That was it for the day. I took a shower and had dinner. Then it was surfing and TV for the rest of the evening.
