We woke up at 7, did the pet stuff, had breakfast, and hooked up to leave. It all went really well.
When we left the club the ash level was 97%. It went p to 98%, then back down to 97%. It stayed at 97% for many miles. Eventually it went back up and a regen began. When it was over the level was 10%. Yeah.
We had a tail wind, or a partial tailwind, for most of the day. Overall we got 10.2 mpg. That's great given the elevation changes and the regen. Most of the drive was OK. However I40 and 93 out of Kingman had really bad pavement. On 93 I actually drove partially in the other lane to avoid the pavement damage.
We got to the park in Las Vegas a little before 1. That's when the trouble began. I pulled in wrong and had to go around. There was an asshole blocking the pace I needed to turn at. Because of all of the one way streets I had to drive all around the park before got back to or spot. It's a big park. We needed to put two blocks on the street side tires. They kept slipping backwards. We finally got the trailer on them. I unhooked and we leveled the trailer. One of the tires on that side was off the ground. I had to hook up again and use only 1 block. After that we finally got set up. It must have taken over an hour.
After we set up I took the dog for a walk around the park. Ellen was on the can. Abby had a good time and was tired when we got back.
It was nice and cool, low 70's. There was a breeze and we opened up the door and windows to air the place out. It needed it.
We spent the afternoon watching videos and surfing. We walked over to the clubhouse before dinner, but the cafe was closed. Ellen fixed Orange chicken instead.
We watched videos after dinner and we both fell asleep. Some of the videos were nostalgia for the 70's and 80's. It made me sad to realize how long ago that was and how much we've lost. The country is full of pussies.
