We got up a little before 9, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then it was load up the truck and go to the club.
It was nice and sunny, but not too hot. We got a cart and started driving around the "hard" course. There were a couple of challenging stations, but most were pretty doable. Ellen didn't shoot very well and I did so-so. We were lucky. As we were finishing up a corporate group of 100 people started to show up.
After that we drove to Wally World in Hurricane. We needed a couple of grocery items and we bought another case of shells. From there it was home for lunch - leftover pizza.
Ellen had made an appointment at 4:30 for Abby to get shots. Fortunately the vet was only a few miles away. More fortunately the backup on the freeway was going the other way. Abby got her shots and then we stopped at Sportsman's Warehouse next door. They were expensive, just like we expected.
We took a back way home to avoid the backup on the freeway. We fed the pets and then went to the cafe at the exit. It was good. As advertised there was lots of food.
The evening was spent watching videos and playing games.
