Day 2836

I woke up at 8, played games for a while, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast.  I called Joe about the car and then surfed for a while waiting for a reply.

I wasn't sure how long it would take, so I got the two deck pads from the shed and put them under the kitchen table.  They fit almost perfectly.  The biggest pain was cutting hols for the chair tie downs.

Joe called back just as I was finishing up.  We went over to Mt. Angel and got the car.  We left the truck at Joe's and went to a restaurant in town.  Joe recommended it highly.  It was very good and not too expensive.

After that we went to Silverton and walked around.  At least the town was open today.  We went through the crafts thing and a few antique shops.  The weather was nice and it was pleasant to do something other than sitting in the trailer.

We stopped at Joe's and picked up the truck on the way home.  It was in the 80's when we got home, so we sat inside.  I surfed and Ellen watched chick flicks.

At dinner time Ellen fixed chicken and rice.  After dinner she went back to chick flicks.  I got out the BBX and did a few assembly steps.  The assembly process is frustrating because the parts are distributed almost at random among a bunch of unmarked bags.  It took longer to find the parts for a step than it did to do the construction.  I managed to build the back end suspension and the front steering assembly.  It took 3 or 4 hours to do it.

About 7 a thunderstorm came in.  There was a lot of thunder and a little rain.  It wasn't anything compared to Texas thunderstorms.
