We got up at 7:45, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we left to go to Spokane. There was a little problem with a leaking garbage sack that we took to the dumpster first, but we were on the road by 8:13.
We ran into two traffic problems getting out of town. The first was on I5 at the river. It didn't really delay us too much. The second was on 205 near Clackamas town center. That took a little longer, but was really just an aggravation. We got to Troutdale about 45 minutes after leaving the club.
From there the rest of the trip was pretty smooth. I basically ignored the speed limit, going 80 most of the way. Sometimes I had a rabbit and sometimes I didn't. Many people were going 5 to 10 over the speed limit. We got 34 mpg, which was nice since gas was $5/gal.
We got to Spokane a little before 3 and checked into the hotel. I was pfretty tired, so I just sat in the room and surfed.
We walked over and had dinner at the Denney's near the hotel. Then it was back to the hotel for a little surfing and an early bedtime. We're set to pick up Abby at 9 tomorrow.
