We got up at 8, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we got ready to shoot. After that I went to the club and picked up the cart that Gerry had rented. Then we met Gerry at the club and loaded up his stuff.
The weather was perfect again today. Gerry didn't shoot very well. I shot mediocre again, chiefly because I have to get used to the backup gun. It's got 32 inch barrels and doesn't shoot to the same point of aim as my Perazzi. Ellen shot pretty well and ended up punching into C class. She's very happy about that.
Gerry was shooting in the afternoon, so we went to Hops and Drops for lunch alone. It was really pleasant to sit outside and have a nice lunch. After lunch we bought some cat food at Petco and then went home.
I was feeling a little tired and distinctly unmotivated, so it was videos until dinner. Ellen fixed chicken and rice.
After dinner I wanted to do something, so I started sorting parts for the BBX. The parts are scattered about half a dozen or more small unlabelled bags. Typically I spent more time finding parts for a step than I do completing the step. I spent about 3 hours sorting parts for almost all of the steps left to complete. That should speed up assembly significantly.
When that was done I surfed until bedtime while Ellen watched chick flicks.
