I woke up at 8, played games for a while, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. It was a nice day for shooting. Unfortunately Ellen's asshole was giving her fits. I ended up surfing for a while.
That got old, so I got out the BBX. I just didn't feel like spending the whole day on the internet. I started by putting together the ball diff. I had a youtube video to help me out. It was a little involved and tricky, but it didn't give me any problems.
After that I put together the servo saver. It was a really pain in the ass. There were two circular springs that fit inside each other. It took two needle nose pliers and a lot of effort to get them to fit in the saver. the guy in the video just put in one.
I had a sandwich for lunch and then continued. I installed the servo in the frame and then attached the lower arms and the camber arms. Then I installed the front bumper and it's supports. Finally I installed some parts on the roll cage pieces. None of these things was particularly hard, but finding the parts was a major pain in the ass. Tamiya distributes screws, washers, etc. in small bags inside bigger ones. None of either the small or large bags contain related parts. In one instance I had to search three small bags located in two larger bags to find what I needed. It took a lot linger to find the parts than it did to install them.
That's all I can do on the BBX until the slipper clutch arrives. I need it to complete the gear box and I need to install the gear box before I can assemble anything else. I can assemble the shocks, but I need a 1mm drill bit. Hopefully Harbor Freight has one.
Dinner was a frozen dinner. Ellen's asshole is still on the warpath. After dinner was more videos.
