I woke up about 6:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. I played games for a while before getting up for pet stuff and breakfast. After that I put the laundry in the truck and we left for the laundromat. Ellen took the Audi and we let it at Woodburn Auto.
When the laundry was done we drove home with a stop at the post office. There were three packages there. When we got home I took everything out of the truck and put it away. Then we left for Silverton. The Wilco there had the Casoron 4G that I need.
The trip was a nice drive through the farmland. We got the Casoron ($300 worth) with a 10% Tuesday discount. Then we got coffee across the street at Dutch Bros. Yes, Abby got a pup cup.
Our next stop was the Mt. Angel hamburger place. The car was done by then, so we had the GPS guide us through the farmland to Woodburn. It would have been a short trip except the truck went into regen. By accident we made a detour loop the was almost exactly the right length to do the regen. It was only 10 miles long, too.
We got the car and went home. I did a little video watching and then decided to start work on the new computer. The setup process was really long and I had to keep telling it that I didn't want to have it spy on me. When the update step came the thing stopped forever at 99%. I went outside and put ammo for the trip in the truck. I also placed the Casoron that is going to Texas in a plastic bag and put it in the truck.
When I got back the update was over and I was back to answering questions. Eventually the process was complete. I had Ellen help put Bitdefender on and then I started customizing things to meet my needs.
That process involved loading Firefox and getting it set up. I also spent a lot of time looking on the web to find how to do things like setting icon sizes, screen sizes, and organizing the taskbar. Eventually I got tired and quit. I still have to load data and install apps. I'll also try to delete a lot of apps that I don't want. Some continually generate popups saying "load me".
I went back to videos for a little while and then switched to a movie. I liked the movie, but after 1.5 hours I switched to Gutfeld. Dinner really didn't happen. I had some cereal, potato chips, and toast.
Tomorrow I'll try to finish setting up the new computer. It's display is fantastic. I'm typing this entry on it and its keyboard is also an improvement.
