I woke up at 7:30 and played games for a while. Then I got up, fed the pets, and had breakfast. Finally I loaded up the car for the member's day. Gerry called and we drove the car over early to see him.
We shot a round of whirlybird while we waited for things to start. I didn't hit a one. Between the members and the public the course was really crowded. It over 2 hours to shoot it. We had to stop a little early in order to attend the raffle (we'd bought $200 of tickets). We ended up winning two things - a waterproof bag and some weird thermal mitten/glove things. Sandy won a case of Black Gold shells. Since she doesn't shoot 12 ga, we traded our stuff for it. The ammo would cost $152 in San Antonio, so we came out pretty good.
I shot pretty well at the sporting clays, but I didn't feel like shooting the make-a-break. We watched Gerry do it. After that we all went to whirlybird. I shot terrible again. Oh well. Then we packed up and went home.
I put everything away and then packed the water and gun cart in the car. I was too tired to wash the car. Instead I went inside and watched videos.
Dinner was a frozen thing. After dinner I watched a movie and then did some surfing.
