I woke up at 7, played games, and then got up to take Abby for a walk. It was 60 degrees out, so she had a great time running in the cool temperature. When we got bac I had breakfast and then got back to work on the computer.
It only took me a couple of minutes to get the issue with Firefox resolved. The first thing I tried worked. Deleting unwanted apps took longer. Win 11 makes it easy to do, but there were a lot of them. With that done I did a little more work fine tuning some apps and called the new computer ready for prime time. I put the old computer away in the case that came with the new one.
With that done I tackled the huge pile of paper that Ellen had built on the desk. It was mainly financial stuff that she hadn't bothered to deal with. I separated it all into piles - bank slips, financial reports, garbage, and other. I put the piles on her computer. I also spent some time shredding the stuff that she said she didn't need.
With that done I did a little surfing and then decided to go to lunch. Ellen wanted to go to Wally World, Walgreens, the post office and the golf course. So we did. We got everything we needed done at each place.
When we got home I sat down for a combination video and nap session. When I woke up I sat down to do the chore that I had been putting off all day. I built a travel plan. It was just as time consuming and painful as usual. We have to go back on I40 as the repairs on I10 and I80 aren't done yet. It's a good plan though. There's plenty of shooting and we get to stay at new places and others that we haven't been to in years.
I didn't have dinner, just some snacks. The travel plan took most of the evening. I finished up by reading the digital version of the RC magazine that I purchased. It will provide hours of entertainment. It's also likely to cost me money.
