Day 26

We slept in a little today.  After breakfast I went out to change the headlight bulb in the truck.  They don't make it easy.

First I had to unbolt a fender support and remove one of the batteries.  It was heavy of course and just barely fit.  That made it pretty difficult to get out.  I still couldn't get to the bulb.  I had to lay on the ground to disconnect one of the fender liner attachments and then unbolt the window washer tank.  I had to get Ellen out there to pull back the fender liner while I unbolted the tank.

At that point I could get enough access to unplug the bulb by using a screwdriver to unlatch it by feel.  I couldn't get my hand in there to get the bulb, but Ellen could.

At that point the battle was won, but it was still a pain in the ass to put everything back, especially the battery.

After that we went to town.  We took Lucy.  She was great, well behaved for the entire time we were there.  We walked up and down the street and took turns going into a few stores.  We both bought wallets.  We also ate lunch at the place hat allows dogs.  When we were finished I didn't feel like going back to the trailer.  So we took Lucy to another place that had a singer.  Ellen had tea and I had a hard cider while we listened.

On the way back we fueled up the truck.  It's a short day tomorrow, so I won't hook up until tomorrow.
