Today was a yard work day. I got up early because I couldn't sleep. The pain of my finger kept waking me up. I literally woke up several times an hour the whole night.
The battery on the mower was dead (no surprise). So I decided to use the weedeater while it charged. I cut the area by the well house and then did the lower part of the driveway. At that point I decided to just keep weed eating and use the mower tomorrow. It took over 5 hours, but I did the well house, lower driveway, and the edging for all of the front and back yards. The only part I didn't get to was the far side of the parking area.
To cap it off I cut back the wisteria. I think I cut off about half the plant. I took it all and threw it over the back fence. I love having acreage where I can do that.
I was covered with dust and plant material when I was finished. I went in and took a shower. I had to use the shampoo twice to get my hair clean.
We went to HEB to get stuff for dinner and some Halloween candy. When we got back Ellen gave the dog a bath so that she could be on the bed with us.
One weird thing. I had to use my finger all day today to hold the weed eater. It should be hurting a lot right now. Instead it feels a lot better as long as I don't bend or bang it. Maybe I'll get some sleep tonight.
