We went to Sears today and got a new tire ($300). The web says that they have lousy service. The web was right. We were the first people in in the morning and it still took them two hours to do the job. We bummed around the mall. It was bigger than I thought. I did find my shampoo, so it wasn't a total loss.
We went back to the park and got Lucy. We took her to a dog park. We stayed there the whole afternoon talking with a lady who has spent twenty years working as a nurse in Indian health services. She worked in Obstetrics. So she and Ellen talked baby deliveries for a long time. She didn't have a particularly high opinion of Indians. Apparently the government gives them free everything and they don't respect it.
On the way home Ellen found out that our tires might be subject to a recall. The three that are left aren't. I went back to Sears and asked to see the carcass. They told me to come back tomorrow. I'll be there.
