I got up at 8 CST (6 PST). I drove to McDonald's and got a pancake breakfast. I also got some snacks at Safeway. Then it was back to the room for breakfast and to wait for the funeral.
The funeral was at 11 PST, so I spent the time surfing and watching a movie. When it was time I got into my suit and went to the church. The funeral itself was a mass. The priest gave the eulogy. Hooch had it live streamed, so I'm not sure how many people actually attended. After that we all went to the cemetery. Of course it was raining.
The priest said some more words and put Mom's box in the cubicle. It's actually quite nice, with a marble face and a gold nameplate with her name and the dates. It's even relative easy to find and get to.
Throughout the funeral and commentary service I kept my distance, especially from Hooch. I did explain to everyone why.
After the ceremony I stopped at Safeway to by stuff for lunch and dinner. The restaurants have been closed by Oregon's dipshit governor. I got stuff that could be put in the room's microwave. It was small, but worked really well. I spent the rest of the day on surfing, games, and movies.
