Day 1830

 I got up at 8:30 - I decided to sleep in.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.  It rained all day, so I wasn't going to be hauling anything to the playhouse.  Instead I just went out to the garage to continue the cleanup/reorganization.

I started by cutting a replacement shelf for the cabinet I'm going to take to Goodwill.  That makes it useful and I was going to through the material away anyway.  Then I started on a big mess - the cleaning stuff.  Some of the bottles had leaked, covering the containers and the shelves with a sticky mess.  It took quite awhile to clean it up.

Somehow that morphed into cleaning up the pile of scrap wood.  It was so disorganized that I really couldn't make use of it.  It took a long time to straighten it out.  Now I can easily see and access what I have.  While I was doing that I noticed a piece of insulation had fallen off the wall, so I reattached it.

At that point I needed to get some more plastic containers to organize all of the stuff that had just been piled on the shelves.  It was also past lunch time.  So I went back to the house for some lunch and surfing.  After that we went to the post office and the Home place.  I got several plastic containers.  We also stopped for coffee and Domino's sandwiches (for dinner).  When we got home I went back out to the garage.

The containers were just the ticket.  I got all of the cleaning stuff put away along with the sanding sponges.  That cleared up a lot of formally messy shelf space.  I also cleaned up the rope/cord and nails/screws stuff.  It all looks pretty nice now.

That was as much as I wanted to do, so it was back to the house for some more surfing.  I fed the dogs.  We had the Domino's sandwiches for dinner.  They were good.

After dinner I watched two movies that I'd recorded off HBO.  They were both really good.  After that I was tired of movies, so the rest of the evening was surfing.
