I got up at 8:15. After pet stuff and breakfast I went out to the garage again. I started out by putting away some of the stuff that I'd left out yesterday. I also switched one of the range bags around that I set up yesterday. All of that took time, but didn't accomplish anything.
The "just switch cabinet contents" has evolved into "rearrange and reorganize the whole garage". I started with one of the storage shelves. I moved some of the current contents to the cabinet. I took some of the stuff and put it in the Goodwill pile. I even replaced one of the shelves. When I was done I had a "garden tools, cleaning tools, and other tools" set of shelves. It looks a lot better and I can now find things easily in those shelves.
I still have several shelves to go. I'm really pleased with how the first one turned out, so I'm motivated to continue. However, it is kind of a pain. I stopped about noon because I just didn't feel like doing anything else.
I went back to the house and had lunch (leftovers). Then I surfed for a while. Then I decided to go out. My two pairs of jeans are years old and pretty worn. I wanted to take advantage of the Black Friday sales to get new ones.
We started at the post office. No mail. Then it was Target to look for Christmas lights. We didn't find any, but I did find another Lego Mandalorian kit like Devon destroyed. So I bought it even though it's on my Christmas list. I also bought some glue to glue it together with.
After that it was Kohl's for jeans. They were $40 a pair, but that's better than the $55 a pair they are when they are not on sale. We also stopped at the pet store for cat and dog food. Of course Lucy got treats.
When we got home I started to put the Lego kit together. I found out that gluing it with epoxy that has a 10 second set time is a little challenging. The parts are designed to wiggle a little when you are assembling them. The glue doesn't allow this and makes assembly harder some times. I got halfway through and quit.
Dinner was leftovers. After dinner was TV. I also set up a bunch of movie recordings because HBO and others are free through the weekend.
