Day 1821

I woke up at 7:30, but stayed in bed for awhile.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast, followed by a little surfing.

It was cool and misting, so I decided to go out and do a little test case on making the Ranger parking area.  I got out the pick and the cart.  I used the pick to clear away all of the grass between the truck shelter and the basketball court.  I also cleared a 2 foot strip along the part of the court that I think will be in front of the parking area.

The work didn't take an hour.  I was tired though.  I'm really out of shape.  I planned on moving rock n the afternoon, so I put air in the cart tires.  I also made up a gallon of weed killer to spray on the ground before  I put down the rock.

There was a estate sale I wanted to go to in Lakeway.  So I stopped about 10:15 and we left for it.  There must have been a lot of people there early, because most of the stuff I had been interested in was sold.  I did pick up a hand vacuum and a book for John.  I also got a cool handheld sprayer.

We went to lunch at the Oasis.  The weather was warm and it was nice sitting outside.  The food was expensive though.  We stopped at the super yuppie Lakeway HEB on the way back.

When we got home I got out the implements of destruction and started loading rock into the cart.  I only had three cart loads of rock left.  I used them to fill in some of the area between the truck shelter and the court.  That was enough to show that the 7 tons of rock that is coming tomorrow will be enought to cover what I want to cover.

After that I went inside and took a shower.  Then I surfed until dinner.  Ellen fixed pork chops.

After dinner was TV, with surfing during the commercials.
