Day 55

We spent the morning reading the paper. Isn't that what the Sunday [a[er is for? While we were doing that a person I emailed yesterday called. He had a Logitech remote control on sale for about 1/3 of it's list price. We went to see him and bought it. It turns out that he works for Intel and used to live in Bethany. We had a good time talking to him about life at Intel.

When we got home I started to work on the antenna pole. The first step was to check out the one I bought last winter. It was pretty rusted. Ellen and I spent a couple of hours oiling it up and using the bench grinder to clean it up. It doesn't work great, but it should be serviceable.

Then we split up. Ellen sanded the kitchen table for the apartment and then put a second coat on it. I took the pick and shovel and dug a hole for the antenna pole. I took more rock out of that hole than I did dirt. It also reminded me of how much I hate digging holes.

It's after dinner now and time to watch the Cowboys get beat again.
