Day 100

Everybody had a good day.  We went to San Antonio to a gun show.  The drive wasn't bad - 73 miles and traffic was OK.  The show sucked.  There weren't many tables and the prices were ridiculously high.  I was disappointed (I did find out later that the people putting it on were known to put on crappy shows).  On our way back we stopped at one in New Braunfels.  It was much better.  I saw some cool things, but didn't buy anything.

After that it was the dog's turn.  We went over to Prince Solm park so that she could swim.  She had a great time.  She did a whole bunch of water retrieves and then 20 land retrieves to dry off.  When we were finished she was still raring to go.

The third stop was Gruene.  Ellen had a good time there.  All three of us went through the town.  One of us would sit with the dog while the other went in the store.  Unfortunately we didn't find this soap Ellen was looking for.  It's made in Gruene, but Ellen bought it in Fredericksburg.  It's weird that there wasn't any for sale in the Gruene shops.

We actually bought some stuff in Gruene.  I got summer shoes (they were $5 cheaper than Austin) and an armadillo t-shirt.  Ellen got a Metal Art Iron Man.  She's working on it right now.

I watched the football games.  They sucked from my point of view - the Patriots won and the Packers lost.
