I spent the whole day working on the control panel again. It fought me all the way. I had another bad switch and three burnt out LEDs. The LEDs might have been my fault. The way I soldered the dropping resistors to the switch allowed them to be bent over and short the LEDs. I fixed it by putting heat shrink on all 40 switch connectors.
I did get it finished though. 40 LEDs controlled by 20 switches. It lights up like a Christmas tree when I power it up. I finished it before dinner. Afterwards I took the evening off and watched zombie movies.
I went to the post office alone because Ellen wanted to do archery. I took the dog and we stopped at Tomlinson's to get cat food and dog treats. She ran in the park for an impressive amount of time considering it was sunny and near 70.
Ellen's calls yesterday seemed to have done the trick with the doctors. She got several calls about status today. The doctor wants an MRI of her liver, the insurance approved and it should be scheduled tomorrow. The damn insurance company hasn't approved the radiation treatment. They say that hopefully the treatment could start next week.
I might go shooting tomorrow if the weather is nice. I need a day off from the control panel.
