Today was new year's day. We spent the whole day just sitting around. I did decided to start out the new year by doing something useful. So I got a bunch of stuff from the well house and started to work on the track switch switches for the control panel. I wired short wires between two of the contacts for +12V. I took a lot of time since there were twenty switches to do. Then I cut 40 small lengths of wire to wires the +12V contacts on the switches to the LEDs. I was going to strip them also, but I got tired and decided that was enough for the day.
I fixed myself a drink and sat down to watch TV. We ended up watching a lot of Counting Cars. I got sick of that ans turned on Amazon Prime. I watched a Transformers movie. It was mildly entertaining, but 2.5 hours long. Then I watched a scifi movies about an intelligent robot. The web said it was good, and it was. Finally I watched a 2 hr documentary on the Dutch/English wars in the 17th century. It was surprisingly interesting.
That killed the whole afternoon and evening. I don't think we have anything to do tomorrow, so I'm not sure what we'll do.
