We got up about 8:30, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. After a little surfing we started on the guest bathroom. I used the multi-tool with the blade we bought to remove the grout on the back splash. Then I tried to remove the tile. It didn't go well. The tile wouldn't come off the drywall like it was supposed to. I ended up destroying the drywall behind the tile. I left the top row up because it was by the mirror.
That whole effort took until after noon. We had lunch - cheese and crackers. Then I surfed. I also ordered some new blades for the multi-tool.
I kept thing about the tile. I decided to get some we'd removed out of the garbage and try to get them off the remaining drywall with damaging it. I got out the Dremel (used in every project). I tried several different bits. I finally discovered that I could weaken the tile with a metal cutoff blade and then break it off in pieces without damaging the drywall backing. It's very slow work.
I took the Dremel back the house. I used it to remove 3 of the 7 remaining tiles. By then I'd run out of both Dremel and multi-tool blades. I quit for the day.
Ellen went to Hog heaven. I surfed the rest of the afternoon. Dinner was more stuff from HEB. After dinner was surfing and TV.
