We didn't get up until 9 today. We were both tired. After pet stuff and breakfast I loaded all of the presents for Hooch and family into the car and we left for Portland.
We stopped at Sunset for a while and looked at an A4. I was ready to buy it, but Ellen wants to see if we can get a Mazda. I'm pretty sure we can't. Then we went to Hooch's place.
We handed out the gifts and then talked with Hooch for awhile while he was cleaning up. Then Hooch and I went over to get Mom.
Mom was all upset because she couldn't find her keys. Hooch called the faggot and found out that he had taken them to Seattle along with Mom's handicap placard. Faggot claimed he had overnighted them Monday, but they weren't there. He says he'll mail the placard later. He's definitely a piece of shit.
It took us an hour to get Mom ready. She needed to change clothes and put on her hearing aids. Hooch did that, but she kept pulling them out. We also couldn't get her to remember that Three Dollar Bill had her keys. She was really upset about not being able to find them.
We stopped at Walgreen's on the way back. Mom needed socks - apparently she throws them in the garbage instead of the laundry. She also needed toothpaste and beauty cream. We bought her four tubes of toothpaste and 3 jars of cream.
We also stopped at Thriftway for the makings of a hamburger meal. I bought the kids a cake. Mom stayed in the car. She was tired, but wouldn't admit it.
When we got back the kids were fighting about doing their homework. That seems to be a regular thing. Hooch cooked dinner. Martha stayed upstairs and didn't do anything until it was time to come down for dinner. She did help clean up a little afterwards.
We talked until about 8:30, then I took Mom home. We left early because I had to put all of the stuff we'd bought away. We made it home by 10. We went to bed immediately, we're still tired.
