Day 929

We woke up at 7, but stayed in bed to surf for awhile.  Then we did pet stuff and breakfast.  We did a little more surfing and then contacted the cat breeder.  She wasn't available until 11, so I spent about half an hour working on mounting the TV.  I got everything measured out and cut the backer board.  Then it was time to leave.

We stopped at the post office for a short time to give them candy.  Then we took a back way to Sandy.  It was fun.  The road was scenic and there wasn't much traffic.  We actually got there a little early and had to wait outside the house.

The kitten is very small - only a few weeks old.  It only has faint markings because it's so young.  It's parents look great though.  It spent all of the time crying, it wanted to be back with Mommy.  We decided to put a deposit on it.

There was a really nice Fred Meyer near by.  We stopped for gas, the cheapest we saw anywhere.  Then we went inside and did some grocery shopping.  They were out of milk though, and we've run out.

I had the GPS route us home the "fast" way.  We should have gone back the way we came.  It would have been much faster.  The GPS route involved a lot of reduced speed zones and stoplights.  The back way had almost none.  We ended up at Wilsonville.  We stopped at McMinamen's for lunch.  Then we went to Fry's to look around.  Finally we got milk at the Safeway that replaced the IGA.

When we got home I spent about 3 hours finishing the TV install.  Most of the time was spent being very careful to make sure nothing went wrong.  The result was just about perfect. I was sure glad to get that job done.

I put everything away and Ellen fixed tacos for dinner.  Afterwards I surfed, read and chilled.  I'm tired.  Ellen is busy trying to get the new TV integrated with our programmable controller.  Apparently the two don't really like each other.
